Midnight Sun is the sixth level of Dub Dash and the first to be rated hard. It introduces jump pads, which force the player in the direction of the arrow markers (or whatever direction is against the wall the pad is on). The first wheel section is five strips wide as opposed to the normal three to show the pads' full extent.
The level also makes use of more complex decorations and lighting schemes than previous levels. Blackouts are common in the bullet section, with the area lighting up when the player is supposed to move. They are used again along with white flashes in the next levels.
